I was an early adopter of the RT1900AC (got mine within 2 weeks of the North American launch), but since the very first day I got my RT1900AC router I've had one annoying problem, when the router reboots it doesn't always reconnect to the Internet. I would say on average it's about 50% of the time it will connect. I've gone back and forth with Synology tech support for a long time with no resolution on this. But I wanted to post my experiences here mostly so others with the same problem can sound off, although if anyone has a suggestion please let me know.As I said, the problem is simple, when the router reboots (or powers on after a power loss), only about half the time will it acquire an IP address. If it fails to acquire an IP address, it doesn't matter how long you wait it will never reconnect on it's own, manual intervention is required. Sometimes rebooting the router several times will work, sometimes you need to power cycle the cable modem and router for it to work, and sometimes merely disconnecting the network cable between the cable modem and the router is enough. What's annoying is I know the problem is the RT1900AC, but I can't seem to convince Synology of that, or their devs have been unable to find the problem using their diagnostic tools. Here is a list of the things I've tried, none of which have fixed the problem. Applied the latest firmware. I have factory reset the router. I have tried new cables. I have purchased a new cable modem. If I connect my laptop computer directly to the cable modem and reboot my laptop, it connects to the Internet 100% of the time. But rebooting the RT1900AC it reconnects about half the time. Also, this isn't just me. A family member in another town also has an RT1900AC with the exact same problem. So it's not the ISP, it's not the cable modem, nor the cables. It can only be the RT1900AC. Honestly I'm half tempted to find a way to use a program like wireshark to packet sniff the communication between the RT1900AC and my cable modem, because clearly Synology is not properly following that protocol. But I don't have time to do that right now.Has anyone else experienced this problem?

As I read through many of the problems being posted here, I have flashbacks to my own situation early this year. I have AT&T DSL service. This spring my old Westell modem gave up the ghost so I decided to get the AT&T 2 Wire modem since that was the only modem they would troubleshoot over the phone. Well, I had so many problems with it including dropped calls, ringing with no one there, poor voice quality, just about everything listed here on this forum. ATT was no help, of course, other than to tell me to exchange the modem/router. I did that but had the same problems. The statistics were terrible with many dropped packets. Finally, ATT agreed to send out a technician to check my line. As soon as he saw my 2 Wire router/modem he said it was a piece of junk, went to his truck, and gave me a new Motorola unit that they use just for businesses. We plugged it up and PERFECT! The statistics were perfect and speeds increased 2 fold. No more problems. How many people posting here have that darn 2 Wire POS? Get rid of it! I also just have a single pair running from the modem directly to the outside box.. Had it BEFORE we changed modems. Then I have all house wires disconnected in box and wire nutted together for each color. All phone jacks work just fine.

Two days ago my cable modem/internet connection stopped working, it worked for months before. This is the setup. Cable from the wall goes to a splitter, which splits it to one cable to the cable modem and one cable to the TV.If I connect the cable modem directly to the wall, it works. If I connect the cable modem to splitter, it doesn't work, but the TV does (which is also connected to splitter).I tried another splitter, and get the same reaction - TV works, modem doesn't.My only theory is that the signal isn't strong enough for some reason (some amplifier broken on the way to my place or the freezing cold lately outside?) for the cable internet/modem connection to work through a splitter. If i use the splitter and don't connect a TV to it, it still doesn't work. What do you guys think? I rather fix it on my own than wait weeks for the cable guy to come and probably pay some godly service fee.

Not sure how many if any of you are experiencing this but after Sonic updated my Pace 5268AC Modem/Router unit, port forwarding/P2P stopped working regardless of what I do. My unit was updated on 12/22/17 and I had this issue. If you have security surveillance installed or home security systems installed and you monitor activity remotely with your Android app on your phone, it no longer works after the firmware update. I emailed tech support and I got this response back... "We are not trained on their party equipment or port forwarding" and didn't bother reading my detailed description of the problem and what I suspected was causing the problem. I called Sonic Tech Support instead and the person helped me was extremely helpful and knew that the FW update broke something so he sent me a replacement Modem/Router unit. The replacement Modem/Router unit fixed my issues!

I'm using Sibelius 7. I've tried exporting to audio, but I just get the error "You can't use this playback configuration for exporting audio because it does not contain any virtual instruments. Please choose another playback configuration above." Back in Sibelius 6, there were two configurations: "General MIDI (basic)" and "General MIDI (enhanced)". In Sibelius 7, "General MIDI (enhanced)" is no longer an option. "General MIDI (enhanced)" would export audio, but "General MIDI (basic)" wouldn't. Now that "General MIDI (enhanced)" advanced is gone, how do you export audio? Have any others experienced problems with exporting audio? You'd think that because Sibelius 7 is supposed to have this amazing audio engine, exporting audio wouldn't be a problem. Thanks for your time.

Long time player (though not for a while) with a problem I've never seen before. When I try to panning the map by holding the right mouse button and moving around, it's... weird. Some clicks, it pans any direction fine. Some clicks, moving them (physical) mouse up or left scrolls fine, but moving it down or left, the map hardly moves. I can't seem to find any pattern to when it works, and when it doesn't. Scrolling with the arrow keys works fine. It's bad enough that it's unplayable. Happens in both fullscreen, and windowed. I've searched the forums and checked the FAQ, but couldn't find anything. I've found this on ottd 1.6.1 and 1.7.1, on Windows 10 64 bit.

I have created a Customer Data with different types of Model Entitites, defining the mix on each one of them. Once the model is running, a message appears saying "The maximun number in system limit for objects of [name of the model] has been exceeded. A possible cause is that the Maximun Number In System has too small of a value". However, I haven´t set any kind of property for the object. Does anyone know how can I solve this?

Logging into the game and the first thing I read is "Hotfix inbound in 1 Minute". The low amount of Catalyst Alerts. I don't need 20 reactors, I need friggin catalysts ;-; The trade chat. Post your offer -> get pushed out of the chat by 30 other people in like 10 seconds -> Repeat Host Migrations. Join mission - host leaves - migration - lags - host crashes or something - you're all alone.
Please help.
