season. We really just have to stay together, s Antworten

WASHINGTON -- The Washington Wizards used a physical brand of basketball for an impressive win in their last outing. That approach is required for the middle contest of their three-game homestand with Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons on deck. The Wizards (10-14) defeated the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday night 109-106 in large part to all-around performances from guards John Wall and Bradley Beal. Yet the postgame focus from both locker rooms centered on Washingtons aggressive work on both ends of the court after Hornets took a 10-point lead early in the third quarter. It was our defensive pressure, Beal said after Washington won for the third time in four games. We got tired of giving them open 3s in the first half, comfortable shots...In the second half, we just got after it.Washington got after it on the boards and interior scoring, finishing with a 56-28 points in the paint advantage.Center Marcin Gortats presence was felt in those areas, as well as helping free Wall and Beal for open looks. Wall had 25 points, 10 assists and seven steals. Beal scored 18 of 20 points in the second half and finished with a career-high nine assists. He did a great job screening, Wall said of Gortat. He really didnt focus on getting the ball as much, he just did a great job screening and rebounding the ball for us. At the end he set good screens and got an opportunity to get the ball and finish at the rim.The Wizards will see plenty of Drummond if they attack the rim Friday night in their first meeting against the Pistons (14-13).Drummond, second in the NBA with 13.7 rebounds per game, grabbed 17 in Detroits 95-85 victory in Dallas on Wednesday night. The Pistons outrebounded the Mavericks 50-30. They also rallied from a 12-point deficit in the third quarter as the Reggie Jackson-led offense eventually helped Drummond and those defending. Our defense kept us around and then we finally had a good offensive quarter in the fourth, coach Stan Van Gundy said. We hung around long enough to give ourselves a chance to have one good quarter.Reggie Jackson scored nine of his season-high 20 points in the fourth quarter. The guard played six games this season since returning from a knee injury.I just got my legs under me, Jackson said. The encouragement of the coaches and my team just telling me to keep attacking, go downhill and keep making plays. The matchup reunites twin brothers Marcus and Markieff Morris. However, Washington played Wednesday without Markieff Morris, who sat with a sore foot. Kelly Oubre Jr. made his first start of the season and scored 15 points.Marcus Morris is third in scoring behind Tobias Harris (team-high 16.3 points) and Drummond (14.5) with 14.4. Jermaine Ponder Jersey . -- Patrick Reed got an early start in golf. Jhavonte Dean Jersey . The judges scored it 48-47, 48-47, 49-46 for Jones (19-1). It was the champions closest call. Despite the loss, it was a remarkable show by the confident Swedish challenger, who had the best of the early rounds and then hung on in the fourth and fifth. http://www.cheapbrownsjerseysauthentic.com/?tag=authentic-t-j-carrie-jersey . The 29-year-old from Port Colborne, Ont., has nothing but good things to say about former U.S. marine Liz (Girlrilla) Carmouche ahead of their co-main event Wednesday on the UFCs "Fight for the Troops" televised card in Fort Campbell, Ky. CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The losses mount, now nine in a row to start the season. And as the Cleveland Browns losses add up, so do the questions about zero wins, and so does the pressure, and so does the negativity as the Browns face the reality that a loss in Baltimore on Thursday night would give them the worst start in team history.Trying to stay positive, left tackle Joe Thomas said. But its difficult. It is tough, cornerback?Joe Haden said. It is super-tough. We dont play these games to lose. We dont prepare during the week to lose. Nobody does. But now that Dallas has given the Browns loss No. 9, a 35-10 drubbing Sunday, the pressure to win the next game increases.Every loss that stacks up makes it tougher, Thomas said. In the end you try to remain positive and get yourself ready for a game, and the best way to do that is to remain positive. But it definitely gets harder every time you lose.An 0-9 start matches the teams worst. The last time it happened was 1975. One more loss and the Browns have the worst start in the teams 66-year history.Coach Hue Jackson has talked each week about the team improving and playing hard, but he knows that he needs to validate the talk -- and the work -- with a win. There is not going to be anything else, Jackson said. There are no other players that are going to walk in here. The first place I am going to look to is us as coaches and as leaders. Then we have to continue to keep getting our players better, make sure we putt them in the best situations that we can, and hopefully, we can make some of those plays down the stretch.ddddddddddddPlayers said its important to focus on each week as opposed to the record, but the longer the streak goes the more difficult that is to do.Already the Browns have set a team record by losing 12 in a row going back to last season. We really just have to stay together, safety Tracy Howard said. The best thing we can do is rally everybody on the team to keep fighting, not make excuses, show up each week and put our best effort forward to try and get our first W, guard John Greco said.Hey, we got to take the punches, linebacker Chris Kirksey said. Get back up and keep fighting. Thats life. Were not going 0-16. Were not going to go winless. Were going to win a game.We dont want to be the team with no wins at the end of the season, said cornerback Tramon Williams. Thats the motivation.Thomas said the team simply ha
