four games for 208 yards without a touchdown. Bo Antworten

Tennessees ability to conjure up comebacks caught the attention of Alabama coach Nick Saban. With the No. 1 Crimson Tide and No. 9 Volunteers meeting at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (CBS) at Knoxvilles Neyland Stadium, Saban this week emphasized to his players the need to play a full 60 minutes. We cant relax in games, we cant have lapses in the game, Saban said. We always talk about no scoreboard, keep playing. When you relax, you let the momentum of the game change, and thats hard to get back. And the way people score points now, there have been numerous games where people were ahead by 21 points and end up losing the game. I think for everybody on the team to understand that, whether you play on special teams, offense or defense, is really important. The Vols (5-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) scored three touchdowns over the final eight minutes of the fourth quarter last week to send their game at Texas A&M into overtime. Tennessees seventh turnover of the game in the second overtime session resulted in a 45-38 loss.Earlier this season, the Volunteers came from 17-7 down at Georgia to win 34-31 on a Hail Mary as time ran out, overcame a 21-0 second-quarter deficit to beat Florida 38-28, erased a 14-0 deficit to top Virginia Tech 45-24, and overcame a 13-3 halftime deficit against Appalachian State to win 20-13 in overtime by recovering a fumble in the end zone. This game is one of the great rivalries in the South.Though in different divisions of the SEC -- Alabama in the West, Tennessee in the East -- they play each other every year, and the Tide (6-0, 3-0) has won the last nine meetings. This game is a really big rivalry game and a special one for a lot of people in our state, our supporters and our fans, Saban said. Its obviously a big game for our players as well, and its very challenging to play this game on the road as it always is because theres always a lot of energy and enthusiasm.Tennessee, I think, has an outstanding team. But one that is now in a precarious position in its division race. The loss to the Aggies did more than just take something out of the aura of invincibility that the Vols created with their comebacks. It also pinned them with their first conference defeat. With Florida also sitting at one loss and its game with LSU in jeopardy following a postponement, a second conference loss could put the Vols behind the Gators in the final standings and knock them out of the conference title game.Turnovers were a huge factor in the loss to the Aggies. The Vols lost five fumbles and quarterback Joshua Dobbs was intercepted twice. Probably more than anything else, that is what irked Tennessee coach Butch Jones.I have been very outspoken about it, Jones said, and everyone in our program understands that you cant turn the football over.Other than that, Dobbs played a superb game, completing 28 of 47 passes for 398 yards and a touchdown and rushing for a net 57 yards despite losing 29 yards on four sacks. With running back Jalen Hurd out due to a lower extremity injury, Alvin Kamara picked up the slack with 127 yards rushing. Hurd is expected back for the Alabama game. Two players who definitely wont be available for Tennessee are defensive tackle Danny OBrien and linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin. OBrien sustained a head injury in the loss to Texas A&M, and he subsequently was dismissed from the team for a rules violation.Reeves-Maybin also is out with a shoulder injury that could require surgery. He is still looking at different options for what he wants to pursue, Jones said regarding a possible operation. He has all the time he needs to make that decision. I think he has earned that right. That is not good with the Vols facing a Tide offense featuring freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is averaging more than 256 yards a game in total offense, and sophomore running back Damien Harris, who has three 100-yard rushing games this season.I think this is the best Alabama team we have faced since we have been here, Jones said. Not to take anything away from other teams. They have all been very talented. DeAndre Yedlin Jersey .C. - The Carolina Hurricanes have placed backup goalie Anton Khudobin on injured reserve with an unspecified lower-body injury. Nick Rimando Jersey .ca looks back at the stories and moments that made the year memorable. http://www.usasoccerauthority.com/erik-palmer-brown-usa-jersey/ . 9. Price, heading to the 2014 Olympics for Canada, was named the First Star after posting wins in three starts with a 1.00 goals-against average and a .971 save percentage. Kellyn Acosta Jersey ., and Rudi Swiegers of Kipling, Sask., took sixth spot on Saturday in pairs at the NHK Trophy ISU Grand Prix figure skating competition. Antonee Robinson USA Jersey . -- Playing time has been limited for Maxim Tissot this season, so the Montreal Impact defender made the most of his first scoring opportunity on Saturday. CINCINNATI -- Andy Dalton has thrown only three touchdown passes in four games, a statistic that points to why the Bengals (2-2) are treading water. The passing game is missing something important, and its not the quarterback.Daltons new-look receiving group hasnt kept up with the one from last season, the most glaring change from their 8-0 start in 2015.A.J. Green has two touchdown catches, and running back Giovani Bernard has one. At this point last season, the Bengals already had nine touchdown passes.Their scoring is way down as a result. Last season, the Bengals scored at least 24 points in each of their first four games with a total of 121. This season, they havent scored more than 23 in any game and have only 78 points overall.Instead of touchdowns, theyre settling for field goals. Thats the main thing theyre trying to correct heading into games at Dallas (3-1) and New England (3-1), places where they havent won since the 1980s.Weve got a lot of new faces in there offensively, left tackle Andrew Whitworth said.Theres a lot of guys that havent been leaned on to play that many snaps or have never played in the offense, so theres going to be a growing part of the season. Now its time to really see guys take leaps and bounds forward. The Bengals knew there would be a break-in period with their new receivers . Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu left as free agents, taking away the No. 2 and No. 3 receivers from last season.Plus, tight end Tyler Eifert -- who set a club record for touchdown catches by a tight end with 13 -- tore a ligament in his ankle during the Pro Bowl and hasnt played yet.The Bengals filled the receiver openings by signing Brandon LaFell and drafting Tyler Boyd from Pitt.LaFell has 13 catches in four games for 208 yards without a touchdown. Boyd has 12 catches for 130 yards without a touchdown.Green has bailed them out with a couple of big games. He caught 12 passes for 180 yards in an opening victory against the Jets, and he had 10 catches for 173 yards in a win last Thursday over Miami.ddddddddddddOh man, its just fun to be lining up across from him, getting plays alongside him, communicating with him, Boyd said.Watching him make plays like that, its amazing. Hes a guy you know you can count on any given play at any given time. The Bengals are trying to get the rest of the receivers up to that level when they get close to the goal line. Theyve thrown for a lot of yards -- their passing game ranks third in the NFL.But theyve struggled inside the opponents 20-yard line. Theyve converted only 31 percent of those chances into touchdowns, the worst in the NFL.During the 4-0 start last season, Eifert had touchdown catches of 13, 8 and 9 yards; Green caught TDs of 16, 80 and 67 yards; Jones scored on catches of 45 and 16 yards; and Brandon Tate had a 55-yard touchdown catch. We should have more (touchdowns) than we have, offensive coordinator Ken Zampese said. Weve put ourselves in bad situations on our own -- self-inflicted. Regardless of who we have in there, were better than what weve shown and well be better as we go forward. Well make sure.Game notes The Bengals are 1-5 all time in Dallas, with their only win in 1988. Overall, theyve lost five of their past seven games against the Cowboys . ... The following week, the Bengals visit New England , where they havent won since 1986, dropping their past six. ... Its unclear when Eifert will be back. He got his left ankle taped and participated in a light workout with the team on Monday. Hes practiced on a limited basis for the past two weeks.---Online: AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and AP NFL Twitter feed: www.twitter.com/AP-NFL ' ' '
