Goan football clubs Sporting Clube de Goa and Salgaocar, which had withdrawn from the I-League in protest against the proposed roadmap of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to restructure Indian domestic football, might have another chance of the games governing body accepting their demands made at a meeting on July 1, according to AIFF general secretary Kushal Das.Sporting and Salgaocar had put forward three principal points -- no forced relegation of the I-League to a second-tier competition, no bidding and franchise fees for existing I-League clubs, and that all governance issues should rest exclusively with AIFF -- as preconditions for reinstating their teams in the I-League, when they met with Das and other officials associated with Indian football.Das told ESPN that these and other recommendations made by the other I-League clubs were discussed at the most recent AIFF executive committee meeting in New Delhi on July 28.The proposal put forward was to formulate a three-member committee that would then take the final decision on the matter, said Das.
