While still two years removed from its 25th Anniversary (and seven from its 30th), the jordan retro 11 kids is keeping up with its ’95 and ’90 counterparts’ 2020 rosters. The latest from the Christian Tresser-designed Air Max is a colorful option for kids.
Black bases set the stage for the medley of colors found across the vamp overlays. Shades of blue, red and purple bring flair to the tonal pair in an arrangement reminiscent of the kobe ad basketball shoes Neon Seoul. Mesh tongues sit below black laces with reflective detailing and are adorned with a neon green swath. Branding throughout both the upper and bottom-halves forgo any of these vibrant hues, but the latter boasts some contrast. Full-length Air units, which are shared with the Air Max 98, are clad in a rich green; tooling at the forefoot and rear tread introduce a divergent, but oddly-sensical yellow.
Details of a Nike.com launch for this kids’ Air Max 97 are still unknown, but pairs are likely to arrive ahead of Summer. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
