1. The Cowboys without Johnathan Thurston.Weve the Cowboys emerge this year as premiership threats again and they made a great statement against the Bulldogs last week but I am interested to see how they go without Johnathan Thurston. He generally makes the plays, comes up with the kicks and opposition teams that come up against the Cowboys with JT in it are probably a little bit scared so I think Thurston missing is obviously a huge loss for North Queensland.I think Jake Granville will have to do more running but Michael Morgan will now be the key playmaker so in theory, wherever he is, that is where the ball is going to go so itll be interesting to see if there is any change or whether the Cowboys just continue to roll on.There used to be a time that if Thurston was out then the Cowboys couldnt win but they have matured into a different side now and are the complete package.I think well see the forwards step up - Matt Scott, James Tamou and Jason Taumololo will be thinking the result hinges on them but I get the impression we wont see the perfect execution of set plays and kicks the Cowboys enjoy with JT.?If the Cowboys are to win - theyll win it from a different area and not in the halves.2. Tuimoala Lolohea finally gets the Warriors No.1 jumper back.I am amazed how he doesnt get a starting spot week in, week out. The Warriors were on a winning streak when he was starring at five-eighth or the fullback. He hasnt started for a number of weeks and the Warriors havent won a game of football for a number of weeks, the coach Andrew McFadden has his job on the line and I think the fact that Tuimoala Lolohea is in the side now makes me fell confident about the Warriors. When he played a number of weeks ago he got Man of the Match and Shaun Johnson also looked so happy playing with him. I think Lolohea is the shining light for that Warriors football side.Lolohea is a star in the making, a young kid, a fullback, a five-eighth and he just offers so much difference and he can come up with match-winning plays and has that little bit of X-factor that many other footy players dont have. The Warriors need to be careful because this is why kids leave footy clubs; because they feel like they arent being treated with respect and in the end they go somewhere where they feel wanted.3. NRL Retro Round reminds me of my childhood.I dont know how many players that wouldve been thinking about wearing the old shoulder pads, kicking off sand or just going back to the loose fitting jerseys or even growing a moustache or a mullet but itll be interesting to see if any players participate in the Retro Round.Weve seen a number of old jerseys over the past week in promotion of it reminds me of being a kid; the old North Sydney jersey, the big cotton jumpers - loose fitting, not tight fitting - its brought back some great memories of my childhood. Some of those images of those players in the 70s and 80s make me think back to being a kids when I thought that was the norm and now Im an adult I laugh at some of the fashions and traditions that we had.I believe Graeme Hughes is also doing the commentary of the Sunday afternoon game at Brookvale which is a great initiative and nice to see everyone getting behind it.The fans of our game cover a lot of different age groups and when I was a kid 20 or 30 years ago when we thought nothing of some of those images we are seeing now but these days its hilarious. Dominique Wilkins Jersey . The Swede became the first golfer to win the PGA Tours FedEx Cup and European Tours Race to Dubai in the same season. "It is still taking a little time to sink in what Ive achieved this week as was the case when I won the FedEx Cup but then it just kept getting better and better as the days went on and I am sure this will be the same," he said. Spud Webb Hawks Jersey . Each of Houstons starters scored in double figures as the Rockets improved to 2-0 against the Spurs this season, with both victories coming on the road. They also moved within 3 1/2 games of San Antonio (22-7) for the lead the Southwest Division. http://www.authenticbasketballshophawks.info/dominique-wilkins-hawks-jersey/ . At a news conference Tuesday where it was thought that the fiery Schallibaum may be shown the door after a dismal finish to the Major League Soccer season, team president Joey Saputo said no decision has been made on whether the Swiss Volcano will be back in 2014. Tracy Mcgrady Jersey .Y. -- Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Wednesday that J. Custom Atlanta Hawks Jerseys .Y. -- Bills receiver Stevie Johnson has a bone to pick with the NFL schedule maker. STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Its hard not to notice Michigans Jabrill Peppers on film. His athletic ability stands out to Penn State (2-1) players whove watched him all week as they prepare to face Michigans dynamic playmaker and the No. 4 Wolverines (3-0) on Saturday. But theres something else, something unique.Hes all over the place, Penn State wideout DaeSean Hamilton said. We call those type of guys game-wreckers. We need to make sure they dont come in and wreck the game.Thats exactly what Michigans do-it-all utility man did last week when his team fell into a 21-7 first-quarter hole against Colorado.Peppers, whos listed as a linebacker and defensive back, moved around in the Wolverines defensive alignments to spark the Michigan defense with nine tackles, 3 1/2 for losses, and a sack. He added a 54-yard punt return touchdown to seal the game early in the fourth quarter and became the first player in Big Ten history to earn the conferences defensive and special teams player of the week awards dating to 1994.I cant think of another player like Jabrill, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said. I know theres not another player that Ive coached like him. The unique thing is all the positions that he can play.Peppers prowess and high football IQ have made the New Jersey native arguably the nations most versatile player and one any scout team should struggle to accurately replicate in practice. Penn State is expected to use multiple players to try and mimic Peppers impact this week.Any team would have trouble doing so with just one.Hes an athletic freak, Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley said. Hes a great player, you obviously have awareness for wwhere the great players are on the other team are and you want to know where theyre at on every play.ddddddddddddt his press conference Monday, Harbaugh rattled off 11 positions on offense, defense and special teams that the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Peppers can or has played in three years in Ann Arbor. This versatility allows defensive coordinator Don Brown to be creative with his calls. He can disguise coverages and blitzes in order to torment opposing offenses.Theres times I should be thinking about what to do on the next series but I like watching our guys play, Harbaugh said. I really watch the way our defense is running to the football, the way theyre flying around, hitting. The speed with which Peppers and Michigan can attack is something thats jumped out to McSorley and Penn State coach James Franklin.Although Penn State didnt allow any sacks to Temple, tackles Andrew Nelson and Brendan Mahon were beaten a few times on the edge. McSorleys ability to climb the pocket to escape the pressure prevented the momentum-changing sacks like the ones Penn State allowed to Pitt and Kent State in the first two weeks.Simply stepping up may not work, however, and Penn States young guards will have to be on notice, too. Peppers lone sack against Colorado came when he slowly crept toward the line and exploded at the snap, unaccounted for up the middle.Theyre just a big, strong, physical, mature team, and then they do have some speed aspects, Franklin said. Jabrill does that for them on defense, special teams and offense. ' ' '
